1 - you get more unhappyness by default. (higher values of revolt, more city's get the 80% unhappyness penalty for being far from your capitol, etc) As such your tax income will be a lot lower, and it will be hard to hold on to city's on the far reaches of the map. No you don't.

Re: Teutonic Campaign: The Teutonic Order. The Teutons are an interesting faction because they are not a true kingdom in any sense. Thus, they rely on generals with the leader chosen by them and do not have any sons or princesses. The Teutons rely heavily on heavy infantry and cavalry so war against the eastern factions can be troublesome as

Aquilifer Sep 29, 2016 @ 2:58am. Loyalty issues are minor. A decent faction leader will reduce the likelihood of desertion. A general gets a +3 loyalty bonus for being married to a princess. If you conquer a lot of regions quickly you'll have adoptions every turn until you have enough generals to govern each city.

well you can either kill X faction in game to unlock them or go to Medieval II Total War\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign and go into the Descr_strat file and edit it by moving unlockables to playable list. Just play as England on short. Editing game files can be risky. Just play as England on short. Editing game files can be risky.
Cimmeria: starting position, cav archers and 25% more ammunition. Baktria: pikes, cav archers, cavalry, elephants, starting position. The best choice in my opinion. Rome: good early economy, good starting position, great roster, easy to expand at the beginning. Iceni: i don't like them, but they seem perfect for this challenge. 1. Clipperclaper.

Venice is situated in Northern Italy and is located on an island. Our city is connected to the mainland by a bridge that in turn makes our city easily defendable. Our second city is Ragusa, a castle located on the east coast of the Adriatic. This castle will be very valuable in our wars in the Balkans and should be developed for better troop
Generally, the Catholic factions are the strongest all around, they have the best heavy cavalry and heavy infantry, as well as longbows and pavise crossbowmen. Their strength varies, such as Poland having great cav but weak foot units, or Denmark having great infantry, decent cav and ok range.
Early game Scotland is weaker than other west European factions so it would probably be wise to have a decent understanding of the game before you start as them. Once you feel like you know how the game works start your first serious game as Scotland. #4. Gunther von Rittersburg Dec 29, 2015 @ 11:27am.
